AGENT PLUS RIVER FLEET

The Agent Plus fleet consists of four self-propelled cargo vessels and ten push barges, with a total capacity of approximately 30,000 tons.
Since acquiring our first self-propelled vessel, Bonavia, back in 2015, we have continuously developed our own river transport capacity on the Lower Danube.
We use our fleet to transport grain, oilseeds, fertilizer, construction materials, general cargo, industrial equipment, as well as project and oversized cargo.

SELF-PROPELLED CARGO VESSELS

Four self-propelled cargo vessels form the core of the Agent Plus fleet. In addition to their own cargo space, we use the vessels to power convoys formed with push barges from our fleet.

PUSH BARGE FLEET

The Agent Plus fleet includes ten push barges with similar basic operating characteristics, differing in dimensions, cargo space volume, draft and load capacity. The barges are used as part of cargo convoys together with self-propelled vessels from our fleet, with the convoy composition flexibly adjusted to vessel availability and the requirements of each transport.

Push Barges on Long-Term Lease

In accordance with market and hydrometeorological conditions on inland waterways, and in line with the technical capabilities of our own propulsion units, AGENT PLUS GROUP arranges the lease of 3–5 push barges, with a total capacity of 3,500–7,000 t. This allows us to optimally utilize our own capacities while meeting the needs of our clients.

HOW WE ORGANIZE SHIP TRANSPORT

We carefully plan every step of ship transport to ensure that each shipment is transported safely, efficiently, and within the planned timeframe. In this way, we ensure reliable transport of goods throughout the entire logistics process:

  • TRANSPORT PLANNING

Based on the type of cargo, quantity, and transport route, we plan the optimal mode of transport and cargo allocation within the fleet.

  • LOADING ORGANIZATION

The dimensions and capacity of our vessels enable efficient use of space and stability during navigation, even for demanding and special shipments.

  • NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT MONITORING

Experienced crews with many years of expertise on European waterways ensure safe navigation and continuous monitoring throughout transport.

  • UNLOADING AND DELIVERY

Upon arrival at the destination, unloading and further logistics are organized to ensure the goods are delivered to the agreed location within the planned timeframe.

WHY CHOOSE AGENT PLUS FOR RIVER TRANSPORT

Our own fleet, experience operating vessels on the Lower Danube and continuous monitoring of their technical condition allow us to meet a wide range of river transport requirements.

  • OUR OWN FLEET

The fleet consists of four self-propelled cargo vessels and ten push barges, with a total capacity of approximately 30,000 tons. Owning our vessels allows us to directly monitor their availability, deployment and technical condition.

  • EXPERIENCE SINCE 2015

The development of our own fleet began in 2015 with the acquisition of the Bonavia. Since then, Agent Plus has continuously expanded its capacity for transporting bulk, break-bulk, industrial and project cargo on the Lower Danube.

  • TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTIONS

All vessels sail under the Slovak flag. Their technical condition is continuously monitored, while maintenance and regular technical inspections are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and technical requirements for inland waterway vessels, including ES-TRIN.

  • HULL AND P&I INSURANCE

All vessels in the fleet are covered by hull and P&I insurance.

KEY ELEMENTS OF SHIP TRANSPORT

River transport is one of the most efficient solutions for transporting large quantities of goods on European waterways.

  • LARGE TRANSPORT CAPACITY

Ship transport enables the carriage of large quantities of cargo in a single shipment, making it ideal for bulk cargo and general cargo.

  • FLEXIBILITY IN SHIPMENT PLANNING

The varying dimensions of our vessels allow transport to be adapted to the type of cargo, quantity, and specific requirements of the route.

  • STABILITY DURING NAVIGATION

Our modern-designed vessels ensure stability during transport and safe movement even with demanding cargo.

  • ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TRANSPORT

By combining large capacity with low environmental impact, river transport on the Danube reduces CO2 emissions per ton of cargo transported compared to road and air transport.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • DO YOU ORGANIZE INTERNATIONAL RIVER TRANSPORT FROM SERBIA?
Yes. The Agent Plus fleet operates primarily on the Lower Danube, on international routes connecting Serbia with Danube ports in the region.
  • WHAT TYPES OF CARGO DO YOU TRANSPORT?
The fleet is used to transport bulk and break-bulk cargo, including grain, oilseeds, fertilizer, construction materials, general cargo and industrial equipment.\n\nWe also transport project and oversized cargo, when their characteristics and the conditions on the planned route allow the transport to be carried out.
  • WHAT IS THE TOTAL CAPACITY OF THE FLEET?
The four self-propelled cargo vessels and ten push barges have a total capacity of approximately 30,000 tons.
  • DO YOU TRANSPORT INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT AND OVERSIZED CARGO?
Yes. Feasibility is assessed based on the cargo's dimensions and weight, loading and unloading conditions, and restrictions on the planned route.
  • HOW DOES THE WATER LEVEL AFFECT RIVER TRANSPORT?
The water level affects the available draft, the quantity of cargo that can be loaded, and navigation conditions on certain sections. Its impact is assessed in relation to the specific vessel, convoy composition and planned route.
  • ARE THE VESSELS INSURED?
Yes. All vessels in the fleet are covered by hull and P&I insurance.
  • WHAT INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO PREPARE A QUOTE?
For an initial assessment, we need the type and quantity of cargo, the loading and unloading locations, and the desired transport period.\n\nFor industrial equipment and project or oversized cargo, we also need the cargo's dimensions and weight.
