CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATION AWARDS AGENT PLUS PRESTIGIOUS AEO CERTIFICATE
The Customs Administration has awarded the maritime and river agency Agent Plus the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certificate, which represents an exceptional recognition and confirmation by the World Customs Organization that the company meets the highest standards in the field of business security, financial excellence and organisational efficiency, that it has passed rigorous scrutiny of all segments of its operations and adopted strict European standards.
The ceremony marking the presentation of this valuable certificate was attended, on behalf of Agent Plus, by Executive Director Nemanja Netković and Freight-Forwarding Director Ivan Nikolić. Only 13 more companies obtained Authorised Economic Operator status, bringing the total number of recipients in the Republic of Serbia since 2014 to 36.
At the presentation of the AEO certificate, the Director of the Customs Administration, Branko Radujko, pointed out that it represents the crowning achievement of companies’ hard work in meeting the conditions for this status, as well as of the customs service’s efforts to make business easier for those who operate in accordance with the law. Companies holding the AEO certificate for safety and security will enjoy benefits when doing business with China and the CEFTA countries, which will considerably facilitate trade and the movement of goods within regional and global frameworks.
The AEO certificate awarded to us by the Customs Administration confirms in the best possible way our company’s motto, “quality without compromise”, by which we are guided in handling our clients’ goods, regardless of whether they come from Serbia, the region or around the world.
