FIRST PAPERLESS CUSTOMS CLEARANCE DECLARATION AT THE AGENT PLUS OFFICE IN DOBANOVCI
With the aim of improving the efficiency of customs procedures, the Agent Plus freight-forwarding operation registered its first declaration and generated a customs invoice at the office in Dobanovci (CI Terminal II), as part of the paperless customs clearance project carried out by the Customs Administration in order to align customs procedures with the EU model.
Paperless customs clearance is a project of the Customs Administration with advanced functions in terms of the digitalisation of customs procedures, implemented together with declarants, which makes it possible to gain insight into the status of a declaration without visiting the office, while all communication remains on record.
The new method of customs clearance has been aligned and agreed upon with all the ministries that will accept such sets of customs documentation, and it means that, for import clearance, the customs invoice is obtained in PDF format, while for export clearance the single administrative document (SAD) is obtained in PDF format, electronically certified and signed with a QR code.
Respecting the highest standards in the field of business security, financial excellence and organisational efficiency, Agent Plus was among the first 25 companies in Serbia to obtain the Authorised Economic Operator certificate – AEO, awarded by the Customs Administration, thereby enabling its clients to carry out even the most complex customs procedures at customs terminals in Serbia more quickly and more precisely.
