STRONG TURNOUT AT THE AGENT PLUS STAND AT TTBD

The Jobs and Internships Fair (TTBD) once again marked the start of the academic year at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering of the University of Belgrade, where Agent Plus presented itself to those in attendance under the slogan “Choose the best for your career”.

At the company’s stand in the faculty’s main hall, students and professors had the opportunity to get to know all the types of transport we carry out and to learn how, for 15 years, we have held one of the leading positions in South-Eastern Europe in transport and logistics.

In conversation with our HR manager, those present learned all about our student internship programmes, exchanged contacts and CVs, while our employees – themselves former students of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering – encouraged them to take their first career steps at Agent Plus.

To make our participation in the fair even more engaging, we also organised a lecture on the topic “Doing business in times of crisis – examples from practice”, in which colleagues from container and river vessel transport spoke about the importance of teamwork and the way of reorganising business activities during the global crises that marked the past year.

The first part of the lecture was devoted to the impact of the pandemic on overseas container transport, with an emphasis on cooperation with China, what was happening in the ports and why goods were being delayed, while in the second part we looked back at the still ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine from the start of the year and explained why there had been a rise in the price of ship fuel, a shortage of labour, as well as an increase in grain exports from Ukraine via the Danube.
